Your first minutes with Postfast
This guide follows the app screen by screen, with the exact words on its buttons. It works for iPhone, Android and the web app on a computer: it's the same app, with the same account.

On a computer, use the web app: postfast.fr/app. To install the app on your phone from a computer, the Download page shows a code to scan.
1. Create your account
The first time you open it, Postfast asks you three questions. Anything you choose there can be changed later in the Settings tab.
“Create an account”
Tap “No account yet? Sign up”. Sign up with an email address and a password (we send you a confirmation email), or in one tap with “Continue with Apple” or “Continue with Google”.
“Where do you sell?”
Choose the country you sell in. It is already set to your phone's country. It decides which platforms you are offered, the currency, and the language the AI writes your listings in.
“Your platforms”
Tick the sites you sell on: Postfast offers the ones in your country, up to 10. You can change platforms for each listing.
“You're all set!”
This screen shows your credits: 10 free generations to start, then 5 every month. A credit writes a listing or values an item before you buy it. Tap “Let's go!”.
2. Create a listing
The app opens on the “New listing” screen, in “Sell” mode. You can come back to it at any time with the + button in the middle of the bottom bar.
Add your photos
“Camera” to take photos, “Gallery” to pick photos you've already taken. On a computer, drag them into the frame or click “Add photos”.
Up to 20 photos. The AI reads the first 5, so put your best shots first (hold a photo to move it).
Add a note, if you need to
The “Seller's note” field is optional. Write down what the AI can't guess from the photos: brand, edition, condition, colour…
Tap “Generate listing”
The AI writes the title, the description and the hashtags. A generation uses one credit.
Several items to sell?
Tap “Add a listing” to prepare another one, then “Generate listings”. They are written in the background, and you review the first one as soon as it's ready. Up to 5 listings in one go on the free plan, 20 with PostFast Plus.
A photo that could look better?
The ✨ star on a photo opens AI photo editing: studio background or styled setting for an item, studio background, invisible mannequin or on a hanger for clothing. Each image generated uses one photo edit credit: 3 free once on the free plan, 10 a month with PostFast Plus. For clothes, the app warns you that the mannequin smooths out the fabric.
3. Review the listing
Your listing appears. The “What's left to do” banner sums up this step: read it over, check the price, confirm.
Read it over
Tap the title or the description to edit them. If a detail can't be seen in your photos, it shows up under “To fill in”: type it in, then tap “Add to description”.
Set your price
You choose it, in the “Asking price” field: the AI doesn't fill it in for you. The “Estimate” section gives you pointers (the eBay market price or the AI's estimate, depending on the item) and links to compare. The “Use” button copies the suggested price into the field.
Pick your platforms, then save
At the bottom, under “Target platforms”, tick where you'll post this listing. Then tap “Save & publish →”.
4. Post it
The “Publishing” screen shows one section per platform. On Vinted and the other sites, Postfast doesn't post for you: it gets the text ready, and you paste it, on your own account.
“Copy the title”
The title is copied and the platform's app opens. On a computer, it opens in a new tab.
On the platform
Paste the title, add your photos and fill in the rest: category, price… Photos taken with Postfast's camera are also in your phone's gallery.
Come back to Postfast
On a phone, the description is already copied: go back to the platform and paste it. For Vinted, it includes your hashtags too. On a computer, if it isn't already copied, click “Copy the description”.
It's posted
When you come back to Postfast a second time, the platform is marked as published automatically. You can also tap the “Mark … as published” button in its section. When everything is done: “Finish · New listing →”.
Selling on eBay from France?
From the app on your phone, connect your account with “Connect my eBay account” (this cannot be done from the web app; once connected, eBay works on a computer too), then tap “Preview & publish”: the listing goes straight onto eBay, with no copy and paste. Direct eBay posting is only available to sellers in France; everywhere else, eBay works by copy and paste, like the other platforms. The eBay guide explains how to connect.
5. Track a purchase and see your margin
Postfast doesn't stop at the listing. Log what you buy, link it to your sales, and you know what you're really making.
Log a purchase
Open the “Listings” tab, then “Purchases”, then “Add”. Choose “Identify with AI” (1 to 3 photos, 1 credit: the AI picks out the items and estimates their value) or “Enter by hand” (no credit). Enter the “Total purchase price”.
At a car boot sale, before you buy
On the “New listing” screen, switch to “Buy” mode, photograph the lot and tap “Estimate”: the AI estimates the resale value item by item. If you buy, tap “Save purchase”.
When the item sells
In “Listings”, “Listings & sales”, open the listing and tap “Mark as sold”. Enter the sale price and the platform.
Under “What you paid”, choose “Link to an existing purchase” if the item came from a bundle you've logged, or “Purchase cost” if you bought it on its own. Your “Net profit” appears: tap “Confirm”.
See the big picture
The “Tracking” tab brings together your margin, your sales and the return on every purchase.
6. Useful settings
Everything is set in the “Settings” tab, then kept with “Save”.
- “AI style”: the “Tone of voice” (“Casual” or “Pro”), “Emojis” (on or off) and “Hashtags” (“Always”, “Vinted only” or “Off”). “Preview the style” shows the result on an example.
- “Text added to listings”: an “Opening line” and a “Closing line”, added at the start and the end of every description. You can keep several with “Save this sentence”, and choose which one to use.
- “Vinted username”: it is added as hashtags at the end of the Vinted version of your listings, unless hashtags are turned off.
- “Languages and country”: your selling country, the app language and the listing language. “My platforms”: the ones ticked by default.
The tone, the emojis and the opening and closing lines apply to the listings you generate afterwards: a listing that's already written doesn't change.
